America You Suck

America you do suck and I will tell you why. At this moment in time President Bush* is coming into the last few months of his term and most people will tell you at this time a bad president can be a very dangerous one. Bush is currently a Lame Duck, he cant get voted back in and his approval ratings are low so he can do anything, no matter how unpopular, at the moment (while I realise there are limits to the Presidents power). Also if there was to be an attack on America, Bush could very easily "postpone" the elections.

Now this is a President who is a war criminal and has been a bare-faced liar to the American people on several occasions. Over the past two years I have watched with baited breath for his impeachment, and for a while there was nearly something everyday; a politician who was about to start the impeachment process and once or twice there was a false alarm that impeachment would begin the very next day (yes Kucinich i am looking at you).

And oh so conveniently the talk of impeachment has disappeared only to be replaced by the hubbub of election news. Oh how so easily distracted you are by all the scandal. Who cares if Obama gets the nomination if there is no election.

So America are you just going to enter the last months of the worst President you have ever had (and possibly one of the worst in the history of true democracies) and let him push through plans like the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America. For the last seven years he has treated the people of America like idiots and you have all sat there and taken it, oh yes there are some who have written blog posts and the like but what has that done? Informed the people that don't need informing. I realise that last statement is hypocritical but not being American or living there, there is a limit to what I can do.

Please America restore the faith I had in your country as the land of the free and impeach this criminal, have him removed from office before any more damage is done and any more lives are lost unnecessarily. The power to impeach a President is a very important one and should be excercised for more than a blowjob** in the oval office, it really says a lot about the American nation that Bush is still going to be there yet Bill Clinton was impeached.

It also says alot about the "Democratic" National Party when it holds the majority in the House of Representatives and wont instigate proceedings against an reign that has no concept of right and wrong.

*When I refer to Bush I refer to his administration, as there is no way Dubya is smart enough to do anything like this by himself.
**I realise Clinton was impeached for obstructing justice and perjury but it isn't a tap on war crimes. I also realise that Clinton was acquitted by the senate.

P.S. Go Obama; don't fuck this one up America he is by far the best presidential candidate for many decades.
